How To Make It In The Garment District Masterclass
A Crash Course on navigating & producing in NYC's Garment District & Overseas. During this course you will learn about formulating/starting a brand, development in NYC, production overseas, marketing your work and go on a walking tour where you will be introduced to fabric stores, trimming shops, buttons/hardware shops & meet 2 vetted NYC manufactures utilized by Against Medical Advice. At the end of the class you are also provided with a rolodex of websites & NYC makers that can bring your ideas to life.
The class will consist of two hour classroom style lesson/presentation, one hour Q & A so we can try and address all inquiries, one hour walking tour & the last hour for lunch/questions. Lunch will be provided Courtesy of DIG INN or Upside Pizza.
Because we will be visiting live studios it is crucial the tour take place during the day.
